How It Works
The EvoDrive uses a 3-stage horizontal centrifugal pump driven by a permanent magnet motor and controlled by a variable speed drive. The controller reads system pressure continuously and adjusts motor speed to hold your set point, regardless of how many outlets are open. The integrated pressure tank acts as a buffer, reducing short-cycling and smoothing pressure fluctuations.
The touch panel lets you adjust set pressure directly. The digital display shows operating and set pressure at a glance, and the fault warning system flags anything that needs attention.
Suitable for: medium-sized household water supply, pumping from storage tanks, light irrigation, farming and agriculture, and pressure boosting applications.

The EvoDrive uses a permanent magnet motor for improved energy efficiency and quieter operation, and features a touch panel digital display. The DynaDrive range covers a broader power range, from 0.8 kW through to 1.9 kW PRO.
What does the variable speed drive do?
It adjusts motor speed continuously to maintain your set pressure as demand changes. Rather than switching on and off at full speed, the pump modulates, which means consistent pressure, lower energy use, and less wear.
Can I use it with a rainwater or tank supply?
Yes, pumping from storage tanks is one of the primary applications. The EvoDrive can draw from a tank up to 4m below the pump. The water needs to be clean, clear, non-corrosive, and at neutral pH. If your tank water has high sediment or turbidity, a pre-filter upstream is recommended.
What is the default set pressure?
300 kPa (3 bar). This is adjustable via the touch panel to suit your property and plumbing requirements.
Does it have dry run protection?
Yes. Loss of prime and dry run protection are built into the controller. If the pump loses its water supply, it shuts down to prevent damage.

Why does the flow rate drop as the set pressure increases?
The pump follows a fixed performance curve; higher output pressure comes at the cost of flow volume. At 300 kPa, it delivers 65 lpm, but if you set the pressure to 500 kPa, the flow drops to 35 lpm. Choosing a set pressure closer to your household’s actual requirement, rather than the maximum, keeps the flow rate higher at each tap.
What’s the safety margin between the default cut-in pressure and the maximum casing pressure?
Cut-in sits at 240 kPa, 60 kPa below the 300 kPa default set point, which is what triggers the pump to restart under demand. Maximum casing pressure is rated far higher at 1,000 kPa, giving significant headroom above normal operating range so the casing isn’t running anywhere near its rated limit during everyday use.
What does the 40 g/m³ max solids concentration mean for tank water?
This is the upper limit for suspended solids the pump can handle without accelerated wear on the impellers and seal. Tank water with visible sediment or turbidity can exceed this figure, particularly after heavy rain disturbs a tank’s base layer, which is why pre-filtration ahead of the pump is worth having in place rather than relying on the pump’s tolerance alone.
Does the integrated pressure tank need any ongoing maintenance?
The tank ships pre-charged at 180 to 200 kPa. Pre-charge can drop gradually over years of use, and a tank running low on pre-charge causes more frequent motor cycling even though the VSD is designed to minimise this. Checking the pre-charge periodically, particularly if you notice pressure becoming less steady over time, is a reasonable part of routine servicing.
